His creations were amazing, (and I highly recommend sitting at the bar just to watch him work! ), but what really stood out was his perception and attentiveness. He couldn't get to us immediately, so he poured us two small gimlets on the house. We got a "cheese salad", which was mostly mixed delicious cheese with several small pieces of bread. Before we even noticed, he saw that we were finishing the bread faster than the cheese, and brought us a couple more pieces, freshly toasted. Our water never ran dry, and he was always there when we needed another drink, but never pushy! Basically, it was the most comfortable and impressive experience I've ever had with a bartender.July 16, 2016
